SWEET MARIE

Often described as having a songwriting ability beyond their years accented by their beautiful harmonies, Sweet Marie are "Sisters, Singers, Songwriters" from Upstate NY. Teen aged sisters, Katie and Gabbi Eklund are Sweet Marie and perform their own material and powerfully share their takes on some classic blues, folk and rock and roll.
They have been lighting up the stage in the Woodstock area over the last two summers, where they have shared the stage with Dar Williams. Bethany Yarrow, the Colony Cats and the Felice Brothers. They have also played the International Peace Vigil in Central Park and recently opened for Brandi Carlisle at the Bardavon in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Even though they are teens, they have a strong sense of social responsibility and have participated in benefits for advocate Zephyr Teachout (Songs in the Key of Z) and were featured at the inaugural Hope Rocks Festival, a festival to bring light to the epidemic of addiction and suicide.
Presently, they are working in the studio with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer David Sancious on an album due for release early summer 2018. Sancious was an early member of Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band.
Their performances feature their own material and their takes on songs from Chuck Berry, Tracy Chapman to Johnny Cash. Musically, their style is hard to categorize, but reflects a deep appreciation of blues, folk and classical music while playing tribute to good old rock and roll.
Refreshingly, Sweet Marie is concentrating on being sisters and songwriters, and they have very little social or internet presence besides their Facebook page. It is unlikely, they will remain in relative anonymity for long.

Talia Denis
Talia’s approach to music is definitely not what you would expect. Her music is on the edgier side of Pop with a flare of Alt-Rock featuring real instrumentation and catchy hooks, all while lyrically offering a positive slant on life.

Talia has played with X Factor’s Fifth Harmony, Company Of Thieves, Rusted Root, Deluka and Jasmine Villegas.

Talia was also invited to sing the National Anthem for The New York Rangers to a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden.

Talia continues to gain popularity with over 2,000,000 YouTube views, 13,000 registered street team fans, and 10,000 social media fans and growing. In January of 2014 Talia released her first full length album, “So Alive”, and has recently released four new originals that will be featured on her forthcoming EP. She has returned to her studio and is currently creating new music!
