The Marc Black Band
The Marc Black Band
When this classic Woodstock band takes the stage, they’re always be ready to lay down some nasty, joyful grooves. Especially on this Holiday weekend.

They’ve made it a tradition to play the hometown on this Saturday after Thanksgiving for more than a decade. It’s become one of those times the whole town comes together in love and celebration. One of those times that make Woodstock… Woodstock.

Marc, recently inducted into the NY Chapter of the Blues Hall of Fame, is a true road warrior as he’s played just about every state you can name over the past couple years. From Maine to California, Oregon to the southern tip of Florida. And he was recently named ‘Folk Artist of the Year’ on ABC Radio.

Accompanying Marc, the great Warren Bernhardt is simply one of the great keyboardists to have every graced a Woodstock stage. Whether he’s playing jazz, rock or classical, he nails it in a deep and soulful way. And he’s recorded and performed live with many of the most brilliant musicians including James Brown, James Taylor, Steely Dan and Bill Evans.

Rounding out this explosion of a band… Hudson Valley’s chanteuse, Amy Fradon; Fearless Eric Parker from the Joe Cocker and Stevie Winwood bands on drums; Don Davis on horns of all description, and Woodstock’s direct connection to Middle Earth, Mike Esposito on bass. The Marc Black Band has been a mainstay of the Woodstock music scene since the magical and now mythologic days of the White Water Depot.

And just to be clear, this show will be all about dancing with your heart, mind and body altogether. As Paul Butterfield famously put it…’Some rock with the body, and some with the mind. This band does it all’.
